Yvonne Lammerich

AOCA, PhD art history, born and raised in Germany, has lived in England, France and Canada, and is a recipient of the Maria Stafford Mid-Career prize from the Canada Council. She has exhibited nationally and internationally since the 1970’s, including the first Quebec Biennale, MOCCA and Diaz Contemporary in Toronto, and The Nunnery, London UK. Recent projects have included Suzhou and Shanghai, China and the Bonavista Biennale (2019), and a solo exhibition at Occurrence, Centre d’art Contemporain, Montreal (2022). Her work is in museums, corporate and private collections.

The project Voices: artists on art, co-authored with Ian Carr-Harris, has been presented at Artport, Toronto, the SAAG, Lethbridge AB, and Zayed University, Dubai and Abu Dhabi UAE. She has written extensively for catalogues and national and international art magazines.

ian carr-harris

was educated at Queen’s University, Kingston (Modern History), the University of Toronto (Library Science) and the Ontario College of Art (Sculpture). He has exhibited nationally and internationally since 1971 including the Venice Biennale and Documenta. Professor Emeritus at OCAD University, he was a founding Board member of A Space and of The Power Plant in Toronto. He is represented by the Susan Hobbs Gallery in Toronto, and in 2012 was named a recipient of the Governor-General’s Awards in the Visual and Media Arts. His work is in museums, corporate and private collections. He has published reviews and articles on art and artists since the early 1970’s.
